JD Systems Featured in Commercial Integrator

Once again, JD Systems heads out of an amazing September with a great sense of accomplishment. From hanging additional screens and projection systems for some of our regular New York and New Jersey sports bar and restaurant clients to the complete design and installation of a new Crestron control system, we’ve been busy this month. That’s not to mention maintenance and tuning to gear up New York area sports bar’s AV systems for another football season. And, once again, we completed it all in time for NFL Opening Day.

So that was our September. Just doing more of what’s driven our success in the competitive New York hospitality market.

Thinking Ahead

We’re just what you’d expect from a New York AV systems integration and consulting firm. We’re fast-paced, passionate, and love a challenge. We thrive in any situation that forces us to think on our feet, apply audiovisual equipment in new ways, and create something that’s never been done before. We all think with the same creativity and intensity. And, when a project’s done, we’re already thinking about the next three steps, planning for the future, and staying on the cutting edge of technology.

That’s why it was exciting, last month, to take a break and share our thoughts on 2013 with Commercial Integrator’s Editor Craig MacCormack.

Craig was kind enough to feature us at CommercialIntegrator.com, where JD Systems President Jak Daragjati talked about our strategies for staffing, training, technology deployment and marketing.

AV Consulting Services Take Center Stage

One of the main things we revealed to Craig was our marketing initiative to brand ourselves as a full-scale AV consulting firm. JD Systems has always offered consulting, design, integration and service-after-the-sale for our commercial audio video customers. Because we bid on jobs designed by other area AV design and consulting firms, some of our clients had the perception that we only install and service audio visual systems.

In 2013, we’re breaking that perception, through our social media marketing and in face to face meetings. We want the world, or at least the New York tri-state area, to know that JD Systems can consult on your audio visual systems design for third party or do-it-yourself installations, as well as provide turnkey AV systems design and integration, depending on your needs and your budget.

Technology Trends

Of course, whether we’re designing or installing the systems, we always need to stay on top of the latest technology to provide our customers exactly what they need. Check out the interview to read about some of the latest technology we’ll be using in the fourth quarter of 2012 and in to 2013. (It’s right around the corner.)

Thanks again to CI for supporting and recognizing our work in the AV industry, and to our customers and website visitors who help keep us motivated every day.
