JD Systems Partners with Crestron to Help Architects Earn AIA Credits
published onJuly 29, 2011

Education is important for professionals. At JD Systems, our commitment to education starts with ourselves. We attend InfoComm, and other industry trade events, along with exclusive training sessions presented by our distribution network, to stay on the cutting edge of technology to better serve our customers.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve just taken a huge step to make it easier for New York area architects in Staten Island, NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, and New Jersey to earn their AIA continuing education credits.

Technology and Architecture: So Happy Together

Today’s architects know that technology is a crucial part of new home design. Many of today’s high-end houses have the infrastructure in place for state-of-the-art audio video systems and whole home control.

Now, New York architects can learn about many key aspects of technology while earning AIA continuing education credits.

The JD Systems staff, along with New York area Crestron reps, present the AIA/CES Seminar Series for Residential A/V Systems. This one-hour presentation covers:

  • An overview of new audio video technology
  • Fundamentals of audio video distribution
  • The impact of technology on end users
  • How to eliminate room and wall clutter that sometimes comes with new technology
  • Control interface options at a variety of price points

This one-hour presentation is for the AIA continuing education seminar series.
It addresses the latest in Residential AV: an overview of new technologies; the fundamentals of AV distribution; the impact of new technologies on end users; eliminating room and wall clutter, and control interface options.

An optional section of the seminar outlines the Crestron DigitalMedia system and how it can help provide comprehensive, integrated control of AV systems with less clutter in the home.
