Sound & Communications Sports JD Systems Install on Cover

The team here at JD Systems would like to thank the editorial staff of Sound & Communications for the feature coverage of Central Park in the October 2011 issue of Sound & Communications.

Everyone was gearing up for football season when Sound & Communications Editor David Silverman called us and asked, “What’s new?” We hadn’t quite finished installing the systems at New Jersey’s latest sports bar / ultra-lounge / restaurant, Central Park. (Okay, we hadn’t even started.) But we shared the timeline — NFL Opening Day — with David and it coincided perfectly with his deadline.

Throughout the process, we worked closely with writer Dawn Allcot, keeping her up-to-date on equipment list changes nearly as they happened. We got the photos done right under the wire. And… just over a month later, here it is! We didn’t expect to make the cover, so we were even more honored and grateful for the exposure and the coverage when we saw the story.

Central Park “Raises the Bar” for New Jersey Sports Bars

In short, Central Park is the latest endeavor of the Rexinis brothers and their partners in the restaurant and sports bar industry. Video highlights of the multi-environment venue include more than 50 LED monitors, all carefully placed so they complement, rather than overpower, the classy design of the space. Digital signage promotes drink specials and upcoming events and also contributes to making sports fans feel like part of the action, even when they can’t make it to the stadium. Bringing the Games to Fans in a Whole New Way

Today’s technology brings the game to fans in a way they just can’t get at home. And when you call JD Systems, we’ll find a unique way to do it for your customers. We never like to create the same project twice. Every installation is different, with new elements to make sports bar customers say “Wow.” When you call us, it’s like ordering New York pizza; whatever you want, made fresh, and delivered hot and fast to your door.

When we look back over the past few months, it’s still hard to believe we delivered a marquee project like Central Park in just about two weeks. Since then, we’ve added a few more installers to our team in order to keep up the pace that’s necessary in this business in New York while delivering quality, custom installations every time. We’ll say it again — we’re truly grateful and honored to have the industry’s longest-running publication notice our efforts. Thanks S&C, thanks Central Park and thanks (always) to this blog’s readership and our growing social network.
